Princes Circus work update
Work is progressing in and around Princes Circus. We are already laying new paving and creating new pedestrian crossing points. For the next stage of work a number of roads in the area will need to be closed. Letters have been sent to all local residents and businesses.

Working in partnership
During the next stage of work we will be working in partnership with the Shaftesbury Theatre to facilitate the relocation of some gas pipes ahead of their basement development. By working together at this stage we avoid the developers having to come back after we have finished our works and re-dig in the same area. This means less disruption for local residents, businesses and visitors.
Upcoming road closures
To support this work we will need to close a number of roads in the area with diversion routes in place for vehicles including closing Shaftesbury Avenue northbound between High Holborn and Bloomsbury Street/New Oxford Street from the 7th November.
