Resurfacing

Between the 17th and 18th June we will be completing further small areas of resurfacing work on Tottenham Court Road. This includes taking up the existing road surface and laying a new surface.

The areas involved are as follows:

• Junction with Alfred Mews
• Junction with Bedford Avenue

Letters to local businesses and residents are being delivered this week.

Overnight Working

One of the nosiest parts of this work involves digging to prepare the road for resurfacing. To minimise this we will be undertaking this noisy work before 10pm. 

We will then be working 24 hours a day. 

We apologise for the inconvenience that this work will cause. We will be working as
quietly and efficiently as possible to ensure that noise is kept to a minimum throughout.

Impacts

Temporary traffic lights will be in place at each location. Bus diversions will also be in place. For more information see our website for the programme. This timetable is subject to change and will be updated as the work continues.
