Taxi driver protest
A splinter group of Taxi drivers are continuing to protest on Tottenham Court Road.
Under the final scheme taxis will continue to have access to 60% of Tottenham Court Road and the restrictions will have no impact on their direct access to UCLH and other medical locations including the Macmillan Cancer Centre.
Some disruption should be expected if you are travelling north along Tottenham Court Road or using surrounding roads after 4pm on weekdays.
Gower Street drainage work
Deep drainage work is continuing on Gower Street / Bloomsbury Street. We are now working on manholes and deep drainage connections on Gower Street near Euston Square station.
The footway will remain open to pedestrians and initially we will be working in one traffic lane only. This section will take approximately 3 weeks to complete.
Later in the works we take two lanes of traffic and suspend the parking bays outside UCLH.

Howland Street Closure
From Thursday 31st January the junction of Tottenham Court Road and Howland Street has been closed to traffic. This is so we can work on new cycle and traffic infrastructure.
A diversion route is in place via Grafton Way and Whitfield Street.
How are we doing?
Don't forget we would love to hear your views on how well you think we are communicating with you and what you think of the finished areas on Tottenham Court Road.
We've created a short 10 question survey on our website on what you think about the project so far. The deadline for feedback is the 31st March 2019.
