New paving for the Post Building, Museum Street

September 2018

The Post Building

Works to start around the Post Building

From the 24th September we will be working alongside Laing O'Rourke the contractors who are developing the Post Building on Museum Street. We will be renewing local traffic signals, adding a pedestrian crossing and repaving footpaths.

Works will take place around High Holborn, Museum Street, Drury Lane, New Oxford Street and Bloomsbury Way. For more information see the project website.

Take care - Zebra crossing removed, Capper Street now one way

We are removing the Zebra crossing at the junction of Store Street and Tottenham Court Road.

This is part of the works to create a new cycle lane and widen the pavement in this area. Please take care as you cross Store Street while you get used to the change.

We continue to work closely with UCLH and their developments. As a result Capper Street is now one way only eastbound so you can only enter from Tottenham Court Road.

Your chance to feed into Camden's Clean Air Action Plan

The West End Project's new green spaces and trees will contribute to improvements in local air quality in addition to the focus on improving sustainable travel options.

Strategically Camden launched a Camden Clear Air Partnership in July and has a new website to capture as many views as possible to help form a Clean Air Action Plan.

You have until the 30th September to join in the conversation online.
