Last week’s Annual Conference on Sustainable Leadership wasn’t about budgets, OFSTED or curriculum changes but it was a reminder of our human vulnerability and a chance to receive some inspiration and motivation to help raise spirits and re-energise headteachers for the year ahead. |

The LSP Annual Headteachers’ Conference 2022 was an uplifting and morale-boosting event. Key speaker, Diana Osagie presented to us on Growing in Resilience & Developing from Setbacks. Her frank and empowering delivery was illustrated with great wisdom grounded in personal stories of tragedy and triumph. Lead Without Limits Director, Katherine Powell, took delegates on a journey of that challenged some of our leadership assumptions and encouraged delegates to look at the importance of building trust as leaders. |

Somos Lambeth Lusophone Celebration Event

Somos Lambeth will be hosting an event on the 24th June from 1-5pm at Lilian Baylis School to celebrate the Lusophone language and culture. Somos schools, Portuguese community groups, politicians and other stakeholders will be invited to attend a celebratory event |
Raising the Game: Secondary Curriculum Development/Lambeth-wide anti-racist quality mark for schools/Shout outs

After a slight delay, the RTG secondary curriculum development in collaboration with The Black Curriculum began this week and is now underway. We have very good representation for English and the Humanities subjects, but we would like to see more subject specialists in KS3 maths, science, art and drama. |

The Children's Society: Making School Uniforms Affordable

Last year, a new law was passed to cut the cost of school uniforms in England. By September, schools should have started making necessary changes to ensure uniforms are a fair price for families. |

This is a one day training suitable for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) and Deputy DSL.
The training will focus on the principles of safeguarding and protecting children and young people.
