On Tuesday the 20th July, we held an event with the Mayor of Lambeth to say goodbye to and celebrate the work of headteachers who have given so much of their career to raising achievement and aspirations for so many of our children and young people. |

The Raising the Game initiative concluded its third year with an inspiring and uplifting Aim High Roadshow event on the 7th July 2021. The virtual event was hosted by Right Honourable Stuart Lawrence and featured a guest panel of renowned individuals from the creative industries. |

We were honoured to welcome three highly successful professionals Natasha Preville, Samuel Ade, Ogo Anokwuru and Samantha Williams who answered questions and offered advice to parents. |

After its inaugural year, Somos Lambeth is showcasing some of the many activities that have taken place to support and improve the achievement of Portuguese-speakers in Lambeth schools.
Also, 5 new schools are joining the initative next year.

African Caribbean Medical Mentors (ACMM): Summer Bootcamp

This year ACMM will be running a Summer Bootcamp for aspiring medical and dental students to best prepare them for the upcoming application process. This is a 3-week virtual bootcamp, 26th July - 13th August that will consist of a series of activities, debates, prizes, and tutor facilitated virtual learning sessions. |

The ELSA programme is an initiative designed to build the capacity of schools to support the social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs of their pupils from their own resources. It also recognises that children learn better and are happier in school if their emotional needs are also addressed. |

This course will give participants a broad understanding of the different types of asbestos and the management protocols for each. The information provided will allow those responsible to manage the risks arising from asbestos materials within buildings. |
