South half-term project

Mountearl & Adare

A programme of activities for young people was arranged during the October half term. The estates benefiting from the project included Sackville, Streatham Hill and Rosendale Gardens. One of the aims of the project of the half-term project was to support the mental health and wellbeing of young people during restrictions imposed under Covid-19.

For many of the young people this was the first time they had left the estate apart from attending school. The finale of the week was a visit to the Traq motor racing site in Croydon (pictured) The young people participating enjoyed meeting new friends in addition to the thrill and excitement of racing round the track.
