If you need urgent help:
- You can access GP services, call 111 or call 999 in a medical emergency if you or your family require urgent help;
- Our emergency department (A&E) is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week at St Thomas’ Hospital;
- Our specialist children's emergency department, which is part of the emergency floor at St Thomas' Hospital, is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week;
- Our urgent care centre at Guy’s Hospital is open and can provide help with minor injuries and urgent medical problems.
We aim to give you the best possible care, in a clean and safe environment and place great importance on reducing the risk of infection to you and our staff.

Lambeth Council have put together a great new resource for Lambeth people called ‘Here for you’. This leaflet provides comprehensive information on what support is available through the Council in the borough. This includes support on:
- Getting urgent help, for example access to a shopping service.
- Financial help, benefits, employment and housing advice
- Mental health, domestic violence and emotional support
- Changes to services for children and families

Public Health England’s Every Mind Matters platform has launched new advice, focussed on looking after people’s mental wellbeing during the pandemic. The range of new resources, designed specifically to help manage our mental wellbeing during coronavirus, include a tailored Mind Plan, Covid-19 specific content for individuals and their loved ones, and support for specific mental wellbeing issues such as anxiety, stress, low mood and trouble sleeping.

Across London, the Met is continuing to prioritise and respond to domestic abuse calls and are working closely with a range of partners to ensure victims receive the support and service they need. The ongoing focus remains on preventing repeat victimisation and closely managing serious offenders.

Lambeth children’s centres continue to support large numbers of families with very young children, through phone calls, distribution of food and home learning packs, and online activities and resources. Lambeth GP Food Co-op has been working in partnership with Lambeth Council to provide seed growing kits to thousands of vulnerable people in the borough, many of which are living with long term health conditions. As gardening activities across most of our sites has ceased, they thought they'd enable people to become actively involved in growing plants from home.
