Lambeth 500+ November 2019: Improve your job prospects

Work progression focus groups

Thinking about improving your work situation? We are looking for residents who are currently working but want to progress in-work to join one of our focus groups. Progression can be lots of things but can mean better pay, better hours or something else. We want your views on how we can support more residents to progress in work.

Focus groups last around 60 minutes and will be on Thursday 14 November (1:30pm to 2:30pm & 6:30pm to 7:30pm) at Lambeth Town Hall. If you are interested please contact Spike.

Participants are given a £10 Love2Shop voucher for their time.

Defining resident engagement

Overview and scrutiny committee

Recently we reviewed our resident engagement structures to check whether the new bodies put in place in 2018 were working for residents and us.

The independent review was published in July 2019. The Government is also reviewing the housing regulatory framework for councils and it is very likely to adopt the Consumer Standard for Tenant Involvement and Empowerment for Councils in the future.

Given the above, it is important we talk with residents about what they think is meant by resident engagement and ask you to complete this engagement survey by 17 November.
