Help us design a new Housing Services mystery shopping programme

Whether you are interested in becoming a mystery shopper, or just want to give feedback on the sorts of things we should cover, please register your interest to join us for a discussion about how our new mystery shopping programme might work.  This includes letting us know what sort of time commitment is feasible if we were to use volunteers and how we should reward mystery shoppers for participating.

If you'd like to attend the focus group, please register your interest by emailing us and we will be in touch to arrange a date.

Join a resident panel

We are recruiting more members to two resident panels:

  • Fire safety: this panel will discuss the practical measures being taken to ensure our homes meet national safety standards, evacuation procedures, and resident communications. We are particularly interested in hearing from residents who live in tower blocks.
  • Contract reprocurement: the housing repairs and maintenance contract is expiring in 2020 so is due to be re-tendered this year. Residents on the panel will work with officers on the strategy and tendering of these key services. Members should be willing to undertake accredited training on the tendering process.

Get in touch if you'd like to find out more or get involved.

Update: Resident Assembly

town hall interior

77 residents came to the annual Residents Assembly last Saturday at Lambeth Town Hall.  They received updates on fire safety issues and the new resident engagement structures, as well as attending workshops on major works and communal repairs. A full report on the Assembly will be posted on the Getting Involved page on the council’s website next month for any resident interested in reading more.

Residents Associations

One of the issues raised on the day was how to go about setting up a Residents Association. Our Getting Involved team can help with this. Please contact us if you want any advice about starting a Residents Association.
