Library Recovery Update

Ring and Read

Have you phoned to book a collection of library books yet? One happy family that used the service said, "Collected our first lot of library books since March today. Within minutes of being home, the bags had been emptied, the books were being read and the three children (7, 4 and 2) were showing each other their treasures. We have always loved library days, but the surprise bags were an extra fun element. Thank you for offering this service 😍"

You can ring 01484 414868 to book a slot to collect carefully selected books based on your family's preferences at 17 of our libraries (more libraries are being added weekly). More information on Ring and Read and how how we are gradually restarting services.

Book Review of the Week

Picture of Billy and his favourite book

Billy recommends What is Poo? by Katie Daynes and Marta Alvarez Miguens

Like many Kirklees Libraries young borrowers, Billy (age 5), loves books about poo, farts and bottoms! His favourite is What is Poo? "because it's about poo and different sorts of poo and when you get to look at all different animals' poo that's my favourite bit!"

We've put together our Top of the Plops collection of books we know Billy will love. Be like Billy, and download a fun/informative/cheeky book for free!
