These Waste Workshops aim was to identify inefficient actions and processes with potential ideas to improve.

James Watts, Site Director of Operations PRUH, who attended some of the workshops added his words of thanks for the participants:

"We'd like to extend a huge thank you to the Therapies department for participating in these fantastic workshops with Quality Improvement (QI) team. The outputs from the sessions are insightful and will equip the department with the tools to for streamlining processes, ultimately allowing us to deliver better care. The QI approach, with its focus on data-driven analysis, is exactly what we need to make informed decisions and ensure we're working as efficiently as possible."

Next steps

A total of 39 quick wins that were identified through the 8 Waste Workshops are being implemented by Therapies team from the ideas identified by the attendees of the Waste Workshops. All updates will be provided by Kate Gregory, Chief of Therapies.

The team identified 246 trust wide ideas which have been shared with both Denmark Hill and PRUH executives to follow up.
