Islington's annual Remembrance parade will take place on Sunday 10 November. Come together with local people to honour those who lost their lives in two world wars and more than 70 other conflicts.

Older people's Christmas lunch
Islington’s older residents are warmly invited to apply to attend a special, free Christmas lunch on Tuesday 17 December.
Local people aged 70 or over can put themselves forward for a place at the annual festive feast held at the Islington Assembly Hall on Upper Street. Up to 100 places are available.
To apply either email or call Islington Council on 020 7527 2525 between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday, as soon as possible and before Friday 29 November 2019.

Anne Frank and Family, Central Library Highlighting the normal and happy everyday lives that people like Anne Frank had before the rise of the Nazis. Visit Central Library during their regular opening hours to see the exhibition, which runs from 4-18 November.
Islington People’s Rights: Fifty years of tackling poverty in the borough, Islington Museum Exploring the work of Islington People’s Rights, a service that has worked to help people who have been struggling with poverty and debt since 1969. Find out more.

The council wants to improve the condition and safety of privately rented properties and is consulting on plans to introduce more property licensing in Islington. Have your say before the consultation closes on 3 November.
The council is also wants to hear about your experiences of living in and using public services in Islington. The survey will help inform its annual public health report and help improve services. Take part before the survey closes on 15 November 2019.
