The restoration of the landmark Caledonian Clock Tower is complete - and to celebrate Islington is hosting a day of free events to officially open the site in Caledonian Park on Saturday 8 June.
Come and see the brand new heritage centre and have a bite in the park cafe. There will also be historical performances, sporting activities and nature classes throughout the day. See you there!
EU citizens: free help to apply for settled status
EU citizens play a valuable role in our community and we want them to be able to continue to live and work here when the UK leaves the EU. There is lots of free local support available to help EU citizens and their families secure their status. Islington and City of London residents can get their identity documents verified for free through the council.

Francis Oduro, a caretaker at Kings Square, has won this year's Caretaker of the Year award for his friendly nature and hardworking attitude. More than 80 residents put forward their nominations, and out of nearly 200 caretakers Francis came out tops. Thank you to everyone who nominated and congratulations to Francis!
Clean Air Day is Thursday 20 June and this year Islington Council is working with primary schools to see how it can clean up Islington’s air.
There's lots happening on Thursday 20 June, including a Play Street after school at the top of Hargrave Park. It's free and open to everyone so come along and enjoy a street free of traffic and pollution!
