We have teamed-up with partners in France and Norway to create lesson plans on vector-borne diseases (diseases caused by ticks and mosquitoes). Thanks to everyone who joined our initial focus groups!
We are now moving to phase two: developing the lesson plans and gathering feedback – and we need your help. We need primary and secondary school teachers in science (biology), geography, and PSHE to join focus group discussions across England.

Welcome to the Germ Busters Academy!
At e-Bug, we are passionate about ensuring wraparound messaging to children and young people about the spread of infection and the proper use of antibiotics. After extensive discussions and visits to after-school clubs, we have created the Germ Busters Academy Activity Pack for after-school settings. This resource aims to teach children (aged 5-16) about infection spread, antimicrobial resistance, and the impact of climate change on antimicrobial resistance in a fun and engaging way.
We are keen to now pilot this resource in after-school clubs. If your club or setting is interested, please complete this form or contact us at e-Bug@ukhsa.gov.uk.
Special thanks to the facilitators who contributed their insights during phase 1 of the project.
