The next round of LEAP funding is now open.

LEAP grants are a small injection of funding of up to £2,000 aimed at start-ups and small businesses based in the Horsham District, with less than 20 FTE employees. You will need to match fund the grant funding by contributing towards 25% of your total project cost with your own investment.

The 2021 Jobs and Skills Fair will take place on Saturday 2 October from 10am to 3pm at the Drill Hall in Denne Road, Horsham.

Shop Improvement Grant

Get up to £4,000 to improve your shop

Shop Improvement Grants are a small injection of funding up to the value of £4,000 aimed at independent businesses with a physical shop presence within Horsham District. The grant can be used to go towards the key improvements that businesses need to make to their premises and/or in-store operations.

You will need to match fund the grant funding by making a small contribution of 25% of the total project cost. Applicants must also have engaged with some virtual training sessions  delivered under the Virtual Learning Hub Training Programme.

The ever popular Big Nibble food and drink festival will return to Horsham’s Carfax on Sunday 5 September this year.

This year’s rally call for the event is to ‘Shop Local, Eat Global’ as the festival is set to showcase the very best of local produce from across the Horsham District, alongside the very best of internationally inspired street food.

The Big Nibble event is being delivered this year by Horsham District Council’s contracted market operator Food Rocks.
