Following the Prime Minister’s announcement regarding the delay in the move to step 4 in the UK Government COVID-19 roadmap, we wanted to provide some links to additional support that may help your business during this challenging time.

Weddings and funerals
From 21 June the rules for wedding and civil partnership ceremonies; and wedding receptions and civil partnership celebrations and the rules on funerals and commemorative events, such as stone-setting ceremonies, the scattering of ashes or a wake, have changed.
Eviction protection extended
Businesses that have had to remain closed during the pandemic and are unable to pay rent on their commercial property will continue to be protected from eviction, giving them the breathing space they need and helping to protect jobs, the government has announced on 16 June 2021.

Updated working safely guidance
The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) have updated the working safely guidance for heritage locations, the visitor economy and hotels and other guest accommodation to reflect changes to step three of the roadmap from 21 June.

Check if you can claim for your employees' wages through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme ('furlough')
The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme guidance has been updated with a reminder that from 1 July 2021, the Government will pay 70% of wages up to a maximum cap of £2,187.50 for the hours the employee is on furlough.

Funding for farmers in protected landscapes
The Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs have launched a programme to provide funding to support farmers and land managers to improve local climate, nature and human outcomes.
The Farming in Protected Landscapes programme is open to all farmers and land managers within an AONB or National Park in England, or the Broads (including South Downs National Park and the High Weald AONB).

Government net zero environmental campaign
The Government's Business, Energy and Environment Department (BEIS) has launched the Together for our Planet 'Business Climate Leaders' campaign. The campaign aims to encourage small and micro businesses to commit to cutting their emissions in half by 2030 and to net zero by 2050 or sooner through the new UK Business Climate Hub.
You can use the hub to find practical tools, resources and advice to understand your small businesses' emissions and develop a plan to tackle them, as well as providing ideas for steps they can take.
