We've published a short video rounding up a busy year for HMCTS as we've transformed how people access justice across England, Scotland and Wales.
It includes how we’ve now received 6.8 million cases through our digital services, halved probate waiting times, migrated magistrates' court calls to our service centres and are investing over £148 million in essential court maintenance and project funding this financial year.

Our bailiffs help the people they support to fully understand their situation in challenging times, through a role that can make a real difference to people's lives.
In our latest video, our bailiffs describe what the job involves, including flexible working arrangements, working as part of a supportive team and the variety of situations they handle. Watch our video if this sounds like the job for you.

All hearing information for Civil and Family Courts in England and Wales is now available within the Court and Tribunal Hearings service (CaTH).
Accredited members of the media, who have a UK Press Card or press work ID, can create a CaTH account. Professional users with a MyHMCTS or Common Platform account will have an account created automatically.
Hearing information is still available to everyone to view, but account holders will receive email notifications based upon their subscription settings.

Our monthly management information for October 2024 to October 2025 is now available to read.
It includes workload volumes and timeliness at a national level for our civil and family courts, and tribunals.

A reminder that you can now check when courts and tribunals will be operating during the festive season.
The majority will close for the Christmas and New Year period, including on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
Some magistrates' courts will remain open on certain days to handle remand hearings.
