From April to August 2025, our service centres and national business centres responded to more than 1.6 million telephone enquiries, with each call offering tailored support to assist people with their cases.
We've published a short video explaining how we support our callers. From answering questions to providing support with case, our people play a crucial role in making justice accessible for everyone.

Harrow Crown Court has been closed since August 2023 when Reinforced Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (RAAC) was identified at the site. Since then, we have worked with staff, the judiciary and stakeholders to make sure work from the court has continued to be heard at other London sites.
The major roofing replacement and RAAC remediation project is progressing as expected and remains on track to be completed by the end of the year.
A recent fire safety survey has identified some additional unforeseen remedial works that must be completed to ensure the building meets all safety standards. To allow for the completion of this additional work, Harrow Crown Court is now scheduled to recommence hearings in April 2026.

The Private Family Law service on MyHMCTS enables legal representatives issuing child arrangements using the C100 form, or domestic abuse via the FL401 form, to apply online.
The service is currently available in the following Designated Family Courts: Swansea, Hull and Grimsby, Wolverhampton and Chelmsford.
The service allows you to create, manage and pay for an application for a child arrangement order online. You will also be able to view court bundles and track the progress of your case on your MyHMCTS dashboard.
We will be making the service available nationally from early 2026.
To prepare for the service please ensure your organisation is registered with MyHMCTS. If your organisation does not yet have a MyHMCTS account, you can register for a MyHMCTS account.
