Submit Vodafone section 28 edits by Tuesday 2 September
We will soon be migrating all records from the old Vodafone system to PRE, our new pre-recorded evidence service, which is now in every Crown Court in England and Wales.
Any remaining Vodafone system edit requests must be submitted no later than Tuesday 2 September 2025, to support our data migration. We will not be able to action edits submitted after this date.
Please review any cases where a playback is scheduled between 2 and 20 September 2025 to avoid unedited recordings being shared at trial.
Once the migration is complete, all edit requests will follow the PRE process and all media will be accessible directly through the PRE system.

We will be running the first of our probate service quarterly information sessions on Thursday 24 September 2025, from midday to 1pm.
The online session will include a general service update from the team and the opportunity to address queries and questions on more complex cases, including those involving orders, subpoenas and summons. Where possible, the team will assist on specific case-related queries in a private setting, subject to time and volume constraints.
If you’d like to attend please contact NSfamilybmt@justice.gov.uk.

A four-week public consultation on a proposal to permanently close Stirling Social Security and Child Support Tribunal Hearing Centre is ending. You have until Wednesday 3 September 2025 to have your say.
The centre hears cases about benefits and similar payments but changes in the way these cases are now administered means the number of cases being heard by Stirling Tribunal Hearing Centre has reduced significantly, with many now heard remotely rather than in person.
