All users of Common Platform will now need to use Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to log in, meaning you will be required to enter a code to access the system.
MFA is an additional security step which means users need to authenticate themselves in multiple ways before gaining access to an online app or portal. This is usually done by providing a combination of a password, pin or code. You may be familiar with this if you use other online secure systems such as online banking or shopping apps.
MFA protects personal data from being accessed by an unauthorised third party and is an industry standard and will us enable us to keep case information secure.
