Crime

• Updated: The Single Justice Procedure has been extended to include the prosecution of companies. For some minor offences, companies can now be prosecuted without the need to go to court.
• Reminder: Since Monday 2 January 2023, queries about Common Platform magistrates’ court cases in the north-east are being handled by our service centre. • Reminder: We’ve updated guidance for local authorities and solicitors using MyHMCTS to make family public law applications. It’s now easier to find information on the entire process from submitting and serving an application to uploading bundles and documents.
