Here for Herefordshire Holidays (HAF) Programme – Bookings Now Open!

We’re excited to announce that bookings are now open for our Here for Herefordshire Holidays (HAF) Programme, returning this winter to bring festive fun, exciting activities, and tasty food for children who are eligible for benefit-related free school meals.

There’s a fantastic range of activities on offer – from circus skills to coding (and plenty in between)! And the best part? Every session includes a free meal, so there’s no need to bring a packed lunch. This winter, we’re thrilled to welcome Ledbury Community Hub and Hereford FA to the HAF family! Their involvement means even more exciting opportunities for children across Herefordshire this winter.

Top Tips to avoid delays when booking:

  • Use the name and date of birth as shown on the school register
  • Children must be eligible for benefit-related free school meals (not universal free school meals)

Don’t miss out – book your child’s place today on the Talk Community Directory.

Free Online Course: Understanding Domestic Abuse

West Mercia Women’s Aid is offering a free online introductory course designed to help participants gain a deeper understanding of domestic abuse and its impact. The course will run on Tuesday 9th December at 9:30am and Thursday 15th January at 9:30am.

It provides a foundation for anyone wanting to better understand domestic abuse, covering the prevalence and reality of abuse in today’s society, the different types of abuse including those that are less recognised, and the myths, misconceptions and stereotypes that often surround the issue.

It also explores the far-reaching impact on victims, children and communities, offers practical advice on what to do and say to help, and explains the specialist services provided by West Mercia Women’s Aid so participants leave with a clear understanding of the support available and how to access it.

To book your place, please visit Eventbrite.
