Time to Talk Day
Today, 6th February is Time to Talk Day. It’s a day all about opening up conversations with the people around us, to support good mental health. The campaign is run by Mind and Rethink Mental illness and aims to end mental health stigma and discrimination. The Time to Talk Day website has some useful tips for supporting others and sharing your own feelings.
Mind has devised a free online course called Conversations in the Community that is perfect for individuals who are active in their community. The course aims to build your confidence to have conversations about mental health and wellbeing, so you can support others around you. Visit the Mind website to find out more.
