INFRASTRUCTURE AND DELIVERY ASSISTANT/OFFICER
Salary for the Assistant £22,000 – £25,000 (depending on experience) Salary for the Officer £25,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)

Hertsmere is located in the south of Hertfordshire, just 13 miles from central London and with excellent road and rail links also making the Home Counties easily accessible. The Council offices are situated in Borehamwood within Zone 6 and with a direct rail service into London Kings Cross St Pancras. The area falls within the Metropolitan Green Belt and is an internationally renowned centre for film and television production - home to BBC Elstree and Elstree Studios (a council owned asset), and with plans recently announced for the development of Sky Studios Elstree. About the roles The Council is bringing forward an ambitious and innovative growth programme, delivered through a new Local Plan. As a result, we are looking to expand our Infrastructure and Delivery team to help ensure this growth is in the right location and supported by the right infrastructure.
The successful candidates will have the ability to think strategically and work collaboratively to ensure the successful delivery of our growth commitments. Key tasks will include maintaining an up-to-date Infrastructure Delivery Plan, helping shape spend priorities for over £9 million already collected through our Community Infrastructure Levy and ensuring other developer contributions are correctly collected, monitored and spent.
The posts are offered on a full time (36 hours per week) two year fixed term basis, with the potential to extend. (Part time hours would also be considered).
