Customer Service Adviser
Starting salary £21,159 per annum, pro rata
Part time position (22.5 hours per week)
Monday to Friday 9.30am to 2pm
Hertsmere is located in southern Hertfordshire – we are 13 miles from Central London and within the M25. We adjoin Greater London with excellent road and rail links making London and the Home Counties easily accessible. The council offices are situated in Borehamwood within Zone 6 and with a direct rail link into London Kings Cross St. Pancras. The area is an internationally renowned centre for film and television production, home to BBC Elstree and Elstree Studios (a council owned asset).
As a key member of the council’s busy Customer Service team you will be the public face and voice of Hertsmere Borough Council. You will have the ability to deal with a wide and diverse range of enquiries to a high standard of customer service covering all areas of the council’s business. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential with the ability to work on your own initiative, often under pressure and according to performance targets set.
This post is offered on a part time, permanent basis (22.5 hours per week) and, whilst based in Borehamwood, will include working at our area offices in Bushey and Potters Bar on a rota basis.
