
Mayoral
representatives will be attending ceremonies and wreath-laying services across
the borough this Remembrance Sunday (12 November) in honour of all those who
have given their lives in conflicts around the globe.
Mayor of Hertsmere, Cllr Charles Goldstein and Mayoress, Mrs Gail Goldstein
will be at Christ Church, Watling Street, Radlett at 9.15am and then at Radlett
War Memorial at 10.45am.
Hertsmere's Deputy Mayor, Cllr Brenda Batten and Deputy Consort, Mr John
Batten, will be at Holy Trinity Church in Bushey Mill Lane, Bushey, at 10.15am,
Bushey War Memorial at 2pm and at St James's Church in High Street, Bushey at
3pm.
Leader of the Council, Cllr Morris Bright, will be at St Nicholas Church in
High Street, Elstree at 9.30am and at Elstree War Memorial from 11am.
Deputy Leader of the Council, Cllr John Graham and his wife, Barbara, will be
at the South Mimms War Memorial in St Albans Road from 10.45am and at St Giles
Church in South Mimms from 11.15am.
Cllr Carey Keates and his wife Shirley will be at Letchmore Heath War Memorial
from 10am.
Cllr Paul Morris OBE and his wife Linda will be at Borehamwood War Memorial
from 11am and at All Saints Church, Borehamwood from 11.30am.
Cllr Martin Worster and his wife Pam will be at Potters Bar War Memorial from
10.40am and at St Mary's Church, Potters Bar from 11.30am.
Cllr Pete Rutledge and Cllr Jane West will be at St Martin's Parish Church,
Shenley from 9.30am and Shenley War Memorial from 10.45am.
