It's really important that you keep your recycling clean, dry and loose before putting it in your recycling bin! This ensures that your recycling doesn't get contaminated and helps produce the best quality recycling possible.

Don't put old clothes and textiles in your household recycling bin!
Instead, consider these sustainable alternatives:
- Donate to charity or take them to a local textile recycling point.
- Sell on platforms like Depop or Vinted.
- Organise a clothing swap with friends.
- Re-use or repair items to give them a new life and avoid waste altogether.
|
Please use a different clothing bank if the one you visit is full. DO NOT FLY-TIP.

Did you know these are examples of fly-tipping?
- Leaving items by a street bin.
- Leaving items outside a charity shop.
- Leaving items by a recycling bank.
- Leaving items out to be taken for free.
Your waste is your responsibility! Make sure it's disposed of correctly.
