Link Up Local, Havant’s free job matching service, will be officially launching from April 2025, supporting businesses in and around the Havant area better connect to our local young talent pool.
We are looking for employers with live or upcoming vacancies who would like an additional platform to directly advertise their role.
Why use our service?
- It puts you in touch with Havant’s Link Up Youth Hub, an employment service that provides wraparound support to 16-24 year olds across Havant. With guidance from the Youth Hub Work Coaches, the best candidates will be put forward for your job roles.
- Employers will get a preview of candidates on a monthly basis, getting to know the skillset of various individuals ahead of promoting a vacancy.
- It’s free and simple to access.

Bin Changes for Businesses - From 31st March 2025
From Monday 31 March 2025, all workplaces with 10 or more full-time employees will be required to separate their waste into three different categories under the new Simpler Recycling legislation (micro-firms with less than 10 full-time employees should ensure they comply by 31 March 2027).
The new rules are being introduced to make recycling your waste simpler and consistent across all areas of England, which will contribute to reaching the recycling target of 65% set for 2035, by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA).
