Portsmouth and South Coast Business Week
Portsmouth and South Coast Business Week is the annual showcase and celebration of our business community, designed around our four I’s; inform, invest, interact and inspire.
The week will offer invaluable experiences to network, learn and grow. There are a range of activities running throughout the week across the South Coast which can be found by clicking on the link below.
Alternative Recruitment Event
During Portsmouth and South Coast Business Week, Havant Borough Council will be hosting an Alternative Recruitment Event. This event will support your staffing needs through introducing you to the benefits of community based recruitment and allowing you to meet with 20 potential candidates in just 1-hour.
The event will take place on Friday 28th February from 10:00-12:00 at Public Service Plaza, Civic Centre Road, Havant, PO9 2AX.
The event will enable you to find out more about our job matching service and the socio-economic benefits of community based recruitment. You will have an opportunity to discuss your vacant roles with our job matching coaches who will introduce you to candidates ready and willing to work.
The event is based around showcasing individuals talents and skills, so our candidates will hold stalls and you will be able to move around candidates having conversations regarding current or future vacancies to assess their suitability.
After the event, you will be able to offer next steps to candidates and access support with onboarding your new recruit!
