Town centre demolition unlocks Havant regeneration plans
Work is now underway to demolish the multi-storey car park in Bulbeck Road.
The demolition forms part of Havant Borough Council’s ambitious regeneration plans for the heart of Havant town centre and will unlock the site for development.
The site has been marketed and offers are currently being considered. It is expected the outcome – which will be shared with the public – will be finalised shortly.
For more information on the project, visit www.havant.gov.uk/regeneration. To view the full breakdown on the demolition process and to learn about the mitigation measures that are being put in place to limit disruption to local residents – click here.
This year’s household annual canvass is underway and will continue until November. We have already started to contact some residents by post, while others may have received an email to make sure our electoral register is up to date.
If you have not responded, don’t worry – it’s not too late, look out for a letter from us over the coming weeks asking you to check our records are up to date and inform us of any changes.
This ensures we know you’re registered and who is eligible to vote at every address in the Borough of Havant.
Please follow the instructions on your letter, so you’ll be ready to vote in upcoming elections.
