Have your say on Policing 

The Police and Crime Commissioner, Donna Jones, has opened a public consultation to develop her next Police and Crime Plan.

The organisation is a vital part of the Commissioner’s remit to provide efficient and effective policing and enable safer communities across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Resilience event

Would you like more information about preparing yourself and your home for emergencies like flooding, extreme weather and adverse conditions?

If so, come along to our free event at the Plaza (PO9 2AX) on Saturday 14 September between 10.30am - 2pm to get practical advice from the Environment Agency, British Red Cross, Communities Prepared, emergency planners and utility companies.

There is no need to book a place, just come along to find out more!

Get up and Go

Activity of any kind can bring a multitude of physical, mental and social benefits to us all. 

Get up and Go works to provide a wide range of fun activities which utilise and help residents appreciate our beautiful local area.  

Activities, which are heavily discounted, include Gentle Yoga, walking netball and walking football, bowling, rowing and cricket are all on offer.

Are your details up to date on the Electoral register? 

Each year the council must conduct an annual canvass to ensure the electoral register is accurate and up to date.

You may have already received an email from us asking for this information. 

If we do not have your email address  you will be receiving a letter soon asking you to check if all the information we have for your household is correct, and to tell us if there is anything that needs to be changed.

Please read the form carefully and take action as requested.

Bank holiday bin collections

Bin collections across the Borough of Havant will not change during the August bank holiday.

All rubbish, recycling and garden waste due to be collected on Monday 26 August will continue as usual.

Householders are reminded to have their bins out ready for collection by 7am on their scheduled day for crews to collect.
