SERT - Retrofit Training Course
Electrical Programme: 9-10 days, Monday – Friday in our Electrical Training Centre PO15 7AL. Developing qualifications 18th Edition and Domestic Electrical Installer. A perfect course to test the waters for a career as an electrician developing both practical skills and theoretical understanding. Following completion of this course, we will be setting up interviews with local employers to explore potential next steps for successful learners. With recognised prior learning learners are attractive to employers but cannot make any employment guarantees.
Retrofit Advisor: Up to 16 weeks of online training and assessments including a live session. Developing Level 2 Award in Understanding Domestic Retrofit and Level 3 Award in Domestic Retrofit Advice. This course is perfect for people looking to advise homeowners on energy savings or join a sales team working in the renewable sectors.

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) Sector-Based Work Academy Programme (SWAP) HSDC College
Course dates: 14th- 27th February 2024 (10-day course), 9:30am-2:30pm

Location: Online, via Google Classroom/Google Meet
We are seeking highly motivated and forward-thinking individuals to join our successful Learning Support Assistants team at our HSDC South Downs Campus. The primary function of this role is to provide a high quality pro-active academic and pastoral learning support service for learners who have Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Training: Upon successful completion of the course, you will gain the following qualifications:
Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties
Level 1 Certificate in Wellbeing
Entry 3 Award in Fundamental British Values
To be eligible for this training programme, you will need to be 19+, in receipt of an income-based benefit, and have obtained a minimum of Level 1 in English (equivalent to GCSE 3/D-G). You will also need to have your own laptop/desktop computer to use for the duration of the course.
