Economies for Healthier Lives: Intervention Development Workshop, led by Havant Borough Council in partnership with University of Portsmouth, is taking place on Wednesday 15th November from 2-4pm at the Public Service Plaza, Havant PO9 2AX.
HBC’s Link Up Leigh Park programme is delivering an intervention workshop to inform a wide range of stakeholders about the research findings that the University of Portsmouth has been collecting over the past year. The research programme included interviews and focus groups with businesses, community organisations, 16-24-year-olds and family members from the Leigh Park community. These findings will be used to help shape a final intervention delivered by the programme which will aim to focus on business support with particular emphasis on opportunities for 16-24-year-olds from our local community.
Local business input will be invaluable during this workshop, so if you’re a Havant business keen to help shape an initiative geared at providing business support that will open employment opportunities for young people, please send an email of interest by 8th November to LinkUpLeighPark@havant.gov.uk to attend.
