A new testing site in Havant has been launched for those who can't work from home (i.e. frontline workers, health care staff, supermarket staff) to get tested twice a week if they are not showing symptoms.
One in three people with coronavirus don't show any symptoms, and these tests can quickly show whether otherwise healthy people are carrying the virus.
Anyone who can't work from home and works for a business with fewer than 50 employees (including self-employed people) can book a free test.
To find out more, visit the HBC website.
Businesses employing 50 or more people can order free lateral flow coronavirus tests for their employees by registering on or before 31 March 2021.
These testing programmes can identify cases of coronavirus in employees who are not showing symptoms, to help stop the spread of the disease and ensure vital services can continue.
To qualify, your business must:
- Be registered in England
- Employ 50 people or more
- Have employees that cannot work from home
To register, please visit GOV.UK.
