Business grants update

The coronavirus-related business grants schemes that have been run by the council (Small Business grants; Retail, Hospitality and Leisure grants; and Local Authority Discretionary Fund grants) have now closed.

We have now issued more than £16.4 million in grants to 1,372 businesses in the borough (25 August 2020) through the Small Business and Retail, Hospitality and Leisure schemes.

The fourth and final round of coronavirus-related discretionary grants closed at midnight on Thursday 27 August and we are now working to issue grants to eligible businesses.
