Gloucestershire Safeguarding Children Partnership (GSCP) Website – New Website for 2021
Our new website has now been up and running for nearly a month. If you haven't already done so, please go and have a look - https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/gscp/
We have had good feedback that it is easier to access information. We are aware that a couple of useful forms are not on the new website and these will be added shortly under a new section within the Resource Library. Please email gsce@gloucestershire.gov.uk if you have any comments/ suggestions for future website updates.

Coming soon:
- New training dates for April - June will be added for our existing courses
- New training courses for Child Exploitation and the Toolkit, and Domestic Abuse, are being finalised and will be available in the near future.

REMINDER
In February, the GSCP published our first Local Child Safeguarding Practice Review. Please CLICK HERE to read the report.
The Child Safeguarding Practice Review was commissioned by the GSCP following its scrutiny of the experiences of three young people who had been sexually exploited. Agencies from across the county, including Gloucestershire Constabulary, Gloucestershire Clinical Commissioning Group and the County Council contributed to the review with the aim of identifying improvements to safeguarding practice and services in the county.
As part of its response to the findings of the review the GSCP has funded open access to 'Chelsea’s Story’ up to the 21st March 2021 for all professionals in the county. The aim being to assist in raising awareness of ‘The Warning Signs of CSE’ and of the journey that young people may have been on that has resulted in them being exploited – a journey that can all too easily make it seem as though they have ‘made their own choices’ and can leave them not seeing themselves as victims and fighting against any intervention.
