Penarth’s festive season kicks off with the Christmas Lights Switch On (Nov 17), featuring live music, street theatre and more. Join a wreath-making workshop at Penarth Pier Pavilion (Nov 27) or enjoy carol singing and mince pies at the Open Doors event (Dec 7). Festive film screenings include It’s A Wonderful Life (Dec 11), The Polar Express (Dec 17), and White Christmas (Dec 18). Also, don’t miss Christmas with The Salvation Army at the Italian Gardens (Dec 15, 3-4pm) – a delightful carol singing session by the seaside.
