Thousands of people are now undertaking Lateral Flow Tests (LFTs) twice a week at home. For these tests to be most effective it is important to know when an LFT is the right option and when we should book a PCR test.
Lateral Flow Tests should only be used when a person is not displaying COVID-19 symptoms. In no circumstance should they be used as a substitute for a PCR test. This is because they are not designed to pick up COVID-19 when there are symptoms.
Flintshire’s Test, Trace and Protect team has noted a growing number of Coronavirus cases in the Flint area.
Several positive cases have been confirmed and a number of identified contacts are also self-isolating.

It's official, Flintshire is on the map and has been recognised in the GeoPlace Exemplar Awards 2021.
Many of us associate mapping with planning or the environment, but advances in digital technology now means every address in the UK can be pin pointed by a unique property reference number (UPRN), similar to a National Insurance number which is unique to one person.
