Music pitched at young musicians

Music Education

A big welcome back after the Easter break!

All our provision is now fully active and, from this week, we are delighted to be returning to schools, delivering both instrumental classes and individual lessons. Many thanks to colleagues who have reviewed our Risk Assessment to maintain the safety of our staff as they return.

We are delighted to officially begin the partnership with Sing up, announced at the end of last term. Any schools wishing to access this resource will soon be able to do so with up to a 65% discount.  More news in the next issue.

With the launch of the Model Music Curriculum, alongside our current CPD and training offer (see below), we will be running some bespoke sessions supporting schools to review their delivery in line with the Model Curriculum. More information on those coming shortly.

We hope you will benefit from the many different programmes of work we offer to support schools and to provide access to music making for young people – if there is any further support you require from us, please do get in touch at musichub@essex.gov.uk
