Essex County Council is the lead partner on the BLUEPRINT to a Circular Economy Project. This EU funded project will help local authorities to accelerate towards a circular economy by streamlining waste management processes, increasing recycling rates and encouraging reuse and repair.
As part of this project, the BLUEPRINT team would like to trial an equipment lending service using Essex Library Services. This will enable residents to hire items such as tools, kitchen appliances, camping gear, party items, musical instruments etc. This community project will help promote sustainability and meet the needs of those who may not have the space or finances to buy new equipment.
We’d love to hear your thoughts on our community project! Do you think this is a good idea? Would you use this service? Please fill out our online survey so we can make this initiative work for your community! http://ow.ly/NSF050Ds2Fl
