Welcome to In-Tune

Keeping you in-tune with both local and national music education developments and also up-to-date with the opportunities available from your local music hub.

Happy New Term!

To help get you going, on Tuesday 8th September we have an online conference featuring catch ups and get-togethers with your Essex colleagues and counterparts (always the best bit of a conference!), as well as a panel discussion looking at Every Child’s Journey Through Music, with guest speakers and members from our own Hub.

We’re here to support and guide you now that the Department for Education expects Music to fully return to the curriculum and that schools should be working in partnerships with their Hub. Our conference is designed to bring you together as well as help clarify updated guidance around the return of music-making and singing into schools, helping our young people’s development and social interaction, as well as their music-making and learning.

Register here

We will also be running a handful of twilight sessions through the term on eLearning, Ofsted Deep Dives, and continuing to bring together schools across districts and boroughs in our county.

Tune into the next In-Tune

Instruments

Look out for the next issue of In-Tune which will include information on our free musical development for LAC/PLAC students, our online music lessons and key information that could be instrumental for teachers and young musicians.
