Funding received from Paul Hamlyn Foundation to improve school readiness through musicianship

Teachers in seven mid Essex Primary Schools will be supported to develop their skills, knowledge and experience to improve school readiness through musicianship. The approach will target improvements in pupils’ personal, social, communications skills and language development through the arts in the primary curriculum. Find out more about this project here

Ofsted - new framework for inspections

Free live music events

On Sunday 23 June there is a chance to hear our young string players at a free Strings Showcase event taking place in Witham. Click here for further details.

Our flagship orchestra, the Essex Youth Orchestra is holding its free audition workshop on Sunday 7 July. If you know of a young musician who would benefit from the opportunity of joining the leading Youth orchestra in Essex and are Grade 7 or above, please click here
