Case Study - Music in Sunshine class


Lexden Springs is a large school that caters for pupils aged 3 to 19, all of whom have a diagnosis of a severe learning disability.

Model Music Curriculum

Launched in January of this year, DfE announced that it will be publishing a new model music curriculum. 

As your local Music Hub, we will continue to keep you up-to-date with the development of this document and will be ready to support all schools to ensure that their music curriculum offer is in line with the model that is published. Find out more here 

Community Music Centres - featuring Chelmsford

Free live music events



Young percussionists perform on African Drums, Samba and tuned percussion at the Essex Youth Percussion group's next concert on 9 June at Felsted School. Click here for full details on this free concert
