Infection prevention and control

Working Beyond COVID

Key infection prevention and control (IPC) working practice as we ‘work beyond COVID’ is the theme of this free online event, run by the community-based social care Infection Prevention Control Project.

If you are a:

  • personal assistant
  • Support With Confidence member/applicant (PAs and businesses)
  • unpaid carer
  • volunteer

or you are an unregulated adult social care provider or offer day services, you are invited to join this session.

It’s tomorrow, 27 April 7:00pm to 8:30pm, on MS Teams.

National minimum wage and national living wage

The rates for the national minimum wage and national living wage changed from 1 April. ACAS has more information, tips and advice  about the changes.

You can also register for a joint ACAS and HMRC webinar about the rate changes

There is a choice of dates: 04 May 2:30pm to 3:30pm or 10 May 10:30am to 11:30am.

Using Instagram to find and keep staff

Working with LikeMind Media, Skills for Care is offering a series of masterclasses to support you to use different social media platforms to find and keep staff.

Instagram is the focus for this session on 03 May 10:00am to 11:30am.

Our next care home huddle is tomorrow, 27 April at 11:00am.

Ross Boseley, East Sussex Public Health Specialist, will bring the latest public health updates and there will also be a Q&A session with a clinical lead.
