This month's star funding opportunity

Sport England’s This Girl Can Community Fund is for local community projects to overcome the barriers some women face in getting active, whether from a lack of opportunities in their local area to the cost and availability of childcare.  More details can be found on page 13 of February's Funding News.


Star success stories

Community Stuff

Community Stuff are happily celebrating recent successes. Not only did they win Best Community Organisation category in the Best of Sussex Awards shortly before Christmas (photo), but they are also featured for their work to alleviate food poverty in The Observer Food Magazine on 16th February.

 

Sussex Prisoners’ Families have been awarded a grant of £337,574 from the National Lottery Community Fund to grow and reach out to more families over the next five years.
