We are looking forward to welcoming you to the Sewerby Winter Woodland event this December. Here is a check list to help you prepare for the event.
Pre-Arrival
*E-tickets have been sent to you via BoxOffice.Spa@eastriding.gov.uk, please check your inbox for your tickets. You can either print them off or take a screen shot of the ticket as these will be scanned. Any duplicated tickets will not be admitted. If you can’t find the email, please log back into your Bridlington Spa account and you -will be able to access your tickets.
*Care of Box Office tickets are available to collect at Sewerby Hall and Gardens, from the Welcome Centre during the day or from the pay box on the evening.
*Please check your confirmation email for the arrival time you have booked. We have broken down the admission to the event into 30 minute slots to help with visitor flow, so please arrive within the 30 minute window eg tickets booked for 4.30pm can access the event between 4.30pm and 5pm. Please do not arrive early or later as the event is sold out and we will not be able to admit you to the event.
*Please note the email confirmation will not permit access to the event … tickets / e tickets only as we need to scan the bar-code.
*Dress – please dress in accordance with the weather, this is predominantly an outdoor winter event. Torches are optional
*No dogs except assistance dogs
*Cash and card payments available for the food and drink, please be prepared with cash just in case.
*Additional tickets are not available on the door as the event is sold out.
Arrival
*Our address is Sewerby Hall and Gardens, Sewerby, Bridlington YO15 1EA
*Parking is available in the Sewerby Hall and Gardens car park. If the car park is full, please park on the road heading out of the village.
*Tickets are only valid for the date / time specified on the ticket - no transfers or refunds
*Tickets - screen shot on your mobile / have your printed tickets ready - admission to the event will not be permitted without a valid ticket.
The Winter Woodland Walk.
*It is a free flowing walk this year so you can stroll around the route at your own pace. We will ask you to wait at the top of the Pleasure Gardens ahead of the finale. There will be some activities in this area for you to enjoy whilst you wait.
*The last finale will be approximately 8.45pm, please ensure you start the walk before 8.15pm to make sure you make the finale.
The House
*The house itself will be filled with Christmas decorations, lights and trees, and the cheeky elves will be hiding in the rooms.
*There is also a Christmas Exhibition called 'Elves’ which explains that they are not just for Christmas! Elves were first linked to Santa Claus in a poem of 1823, which we now know as The Night Before Christmas, in which Santa was described as a 'jolly old elf’.
*There is a Christmas Story in the Orangery called the Shivery Tree.
*House open until 9.30pm with last admission at 9pm.
*The accessible entrance to the house can be accessed via the courtyard. Prams and mobility scooters are not permitted in the house. Due to conservation issues motorised wheelchairs, buggies or scooters are not permitted in the house. We have a small amount of hand-pushed and self-propelled wheelchairs for use inside and these are available on a first come, first served basis.

*Car park – please turn right on departure (Please avoid the village and respect our neighbours)
