We are very proud of Team Elmbridge. They did so well at the Surrey Youth Games 2022 on Saturday! The team showed off their new skills, demonstrated great team spirit and won the Spirit of the Games Award. Well done to everyone who took part.
The Specsavers Surrey Youth Games are traditionally the largest multi-sport youth event in the South East of England outside of school schemes. They offer free local training for those taking part and are aimed at beginners who might not otherwise get the chance to attend clubs. This year the sports on offer were judo, girls football, tennis, dance, swimming and basketball.

Parks Tennis courts refurbishment programme
We’re rolling out our Park Tennis courts refurbishment programme. Works are progressing at Esher Civic Centre tennis courts with new surfacing. In the meantime, you can still play at the other 11 locations across the borough.

Youth Hub celebrates 100th client
Elmbridge and Runnymede Youth Hub has reached a major milestone, welcoming its 100th client. The Hub, which launched in October 2021 and helps young people back into employment and training, was developed in partnership with Brooklands College and is funded by both councils and the Department for Work and Pensions.
