The roadmap out of lockdown
The Government has announced a cautious easing of restrictions in England from 8 March but for now national lockdown rules remain in place: stay at home, protect the NHS, save lives.
Stay safe and remember to continue to:
- Wash hands frequently, for at least 20 seconds.
- Wear a face covering in enclosed environments.
- Maintain space with anyone outside your household or bubble.
- Let fresh air in.
- Download the NHS Test and Trace app.
-
Get a test immediately if you have any symptoms.
- Self-isolate if you have symptoms, have tested positive, or had contact with someone with COVID-19.

Vaccination programme in Surrey
The NHS is now starting to invite those aged 65-69 to book their vaccinations through the national booking service, offering appointments at larger vaccination sites such as Epsom Racecourse. You must have an appointment before coming to a vaccination site.
Even if you have been vaccinated you must still stay at home to stop the spread of the virus.
Find more information on the vaccination programme online or in the Surrey Heartlands newsletter.
