We all know that litter is not only horrible to look at but can kill or injure wild animals and contribute to microplastics in our rivers and streams.
The best thing all of us can do is take our litter home or put it in a litter bin.
If you want to organise your own litter pick, we can arrange for East Hampshire Norse to dispose of what you collect. Find out more on our website.

Beavers have been reintroduced to a chalk stream near East Meon to help restore waterways and create a flourishing wildlife haven. Join a webinar on 20 May to learn more about the project and the difference it is making in the area.
22 May is International Day for Biodiversity 2025 with this year’s theme ‘harmony with nature and sustainable development’. Find out more on the IDB website.
Alton Climate Action Network (ACAN) has arranged free walks and workshops connecting people to nature, the first of which is on 11 May. Visit their website for more details.
If you’re feeling particularly chirpy, you can celebrate the diverse range of birds in our local area by joining PeCAN’s dawn chorus walk to celebrate International Dawn Chorus Day on 4 May with a 4.30am start at Petersfield Heath.
